Jaguar and Land Rover need stability according to EEF West Midlands

Responding to the news that Jaguar and Land Rover are to be bought by the Tata group, Ian Smith, Chief Executive of EEF West Midlands, said:
“This is undoubtedly good news for Land Rover and Jaguar as well as the region as a whole. The workers will be relieved that the uncertainty, rumours and speculation now appear to be over.
“Reports that Tata group will stick to the existing five year plan to invest in and develop the two businesses will also be welcomed by all.
The one thing both Jaguar and Land Rover require now is stability where they are allowed to plan for the future.”
