The manufacturers' organisation was ranked number one out of nine agencies or organisations providing guidance to companies, according to the magazine’s prestigious Annual Manufacturing Report.
Four in ten of those surveyed said they had contacted EEF for support, and almost half (47%) found the service they received “very useful”. Another 42% found their advice “quite useful”, meaning nine in 10 companies were pleased with the level of support they received. The overall number of positive votes EEF received outranked any other similar organisation.
EEF Director General, Martin Temple, said:
“We’re absolutely delighted to be number one in the UK for the fifth year running. We do our very best to provide an outstanding support service for manufacturers, and we’re thrilled to see so many companies find we do just that. The challenges and opportunities for UK manufacturing businesses continue to grow and EEF is contributing significantly to their development.
“EEF is one of the UK’s leading providers of business services in employment relations and employment law, health and safety, environmental services, manufacturing performance, and training and development with a comprehensive range of services providing practical advice and support around the entire employee life cycle.”
