Apprentice Recruitment in Engineering & Manufacturing 2007

EEF East Midlands and Mid-Anglia have recently published their Apprentice Recruitment in Engineering and Manufacturing Survey for the East Midlands and the East of England for 2007

This is the second year that the Apprentice Survey has been commissioned and of the 149 companies responding, 65 companies currently employ over 303 apprentices. The report gives an insight into the level of recruitment of apprentices and the expected recruitment trends for the next year. It also examines how companies go about recruiting apprentices and their involvement with local schools and colleges.

There were 149 respondents to the survey 97 were from EEF East Midlands & Mid-Anglia (EMMA), 38 from EEF East Anglia and 14 from EEF South.
