Manual, Clerical and Technical Pay

These are the results of EEF Western's survey of earnings in the engineering and manufacturing industries. The aim of this survey is to provide our members with an authoritative source of information on the market value of individual jobs. All employees included in the survey will spend at least 80% of their time undertaking the job in question. Directors, managers and engineers are all excluded from the survey.

The report is updated quarterly and organised into two sections; Manual / Shop Floor employees and Clerical and Technical employees. A summary of all respondents throughout the south west of England and south Wales is provided, followed by further analysis by local labour market area.

The latest survey contains data received from 61 companies in the south west of England and south Wales covering 7,205 employees in the industry throughout the region.
