Machinery Risk Assessment

Risk assessment is now the corner of health and safety legislation.  This practical one day workshop has been developed to explain the threory of risk assessments but also, more importantly, how to carry out a machinery risk assessment.  Held at St James’s House on Thursday 19 April 2007.

Principles of Manual Handling CIEH Level 1 – Accredited course

This qualification introduces candidates to the hazards and risks involved in manual handling and outlines what to expect from a manual handling assessment.  It will enable employees to develop safer manual handling techniques in the workplace.  Held at St James’s House on Tuesday 1 May 2007.

Display Screen Equipment (DSE)

This workshop will enable delegates to gain the knowledge, understanding and skills to be able to implement a DSE risk assessment programme within their own organisation and also to be able to carry out the required assessment on all workstations.  Held at St James’s House on Wednesday 2 May 2007.
