As a member of the EEF, you can have access to the following services from your regional EEF association to assist you in keeping up to date with legislation and to enable you to integrate environmental and sustainability principles into progressive management practice.

Consultancy

  • advice over the phone
  • assistance with the implementation of environmental management systems, for example:
  • carrying out intitial gap analysis
  • identification of significant environmental aspects
  • identification of relevant environmental legislation
  • individual guidance on company environmental organisation, drafting policies, procedures and codes
  • assistance with the selection and appointment of in-house health, safety or environmental appointees
  • briefings on new laws and legislation changes
  • phase I environmental due diligence
  • assistance with Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) applications
  • incident investigation and advice on remedial actions
  • environmental noise assessments and control
  • air monitoring and assessment
