EEF believes the fairest charging option for 2005/6 would be to raise application fees by 2.5% in line with inflation as in the previous year.
EEF is concerned about the proposal to raise fees for Part B activities and subsistence by 5%, some 2.5 % above the rate of inflation.
EEF is extremely concerned about the proposal to raise the cost of making an A2 PPC application by 37%.
EEF have concerns over the smooth introduction of a risk based charging system in 2006/7.
