The ‘Lighten the load’ campaign aims to promote an integrated management approach to tackle musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) embracing their prevention, and the retention, rehabilitation and reintegration of workers who have MSDs.
The campaign involves employers, workers, workers’ safety representatives, practitioners, preventive services, policymakers and other stakeholders in improving MSD prevention in the workplace.
The campaign culminates in the European Week of Safety and Health at Work from 22 to 26 October 2007, although activities are encouraged throughout October.
