Revised Ready Reckoner for Statutory Redundancy Pay
The DTI website now contains a new ready reckoner for calculating an employee’s entitlement to Statutory Redundancy Pay when the Age Discrimination Regulations come into force on 1 October 2006.
We have recently been advised by DTI Officials that the DTI website now contains two ready reckoners for calculating the number of week’s pay that an employee is entitled to receive as their Statutory Redundancy Pay.
The first of these ready reckoners calculates the number of week’s pay that an employee is entitled to receive as Statutory Redundancy Pay if they are made redundant before 1 October 2006 and the second ready reckoner calculates their entitlement to Statutory Redundancy Pay if they are made redundant on or after 1 October 2006.
