The DTI consultation document “Choice and Flexibility” sought views on two sets of draft Regulations, the draft Maternity and Adoption Leave and Pay Regulations and the draft Flexible Working Regulations.
In both cases, these draft Regulations arise out of provisions in the Work and Families Bill which will shortly be completing its passage through Parliament.
2. Following discussion on these draft Regulations at the last meeting of the Employment Policy Committee and some helpful comments from some EEF Associations, EEF’s response to these draft Regulations has now been finalised and submitted to the DTI. A copy of this EEF response is attached as an Appendix.
