Pensionsforce offers employers free retirement advice for their employees

EEF is working with the National Association of Pension Funds (NAPF) to support people with their retirement planning

Government expects everyone to take more responsibility for their financial security in old age.

Knowing how to do this is a challenge, especially if it’s not clear what information is needed or who to ask for help. Often pensions seem complicated or the information isn’t given in a format which helps us make informed choices.

Pensionsforce is a new service initiated by NAPF and funded by the Department for Work and Pensions. It aims to support people with their retirement planning by providing information they may need to understand the issues, and to identify where they may need to go to get more help.

EEF is working with NAPF and the trade union Community, to deliver the service to as many employees as possible.

Pensionsforce is provided free to employers for their employees by specially selected volunteers known as Pension Guides who will run meetings in the workplace during working time.
