DTI becomes the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has been replaced by the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR).

The new department now also includes the function of the Better Regulation Executive (BRE), previously part of the Cabinet Office. Pat McFadden MP, is Minister for Employment Relations.
