Willing to host a workplace visit? Find out how

If you are interested in offering visits to young people - whether they are at primary school, secondary school, college, or university, www.safevisits.org.uk - the new website from EEF, DfES and the Caterpillar Foundation - can help.

Companies are often concerned that opening their doors to young people and their teachers or tutors is a hazardous activity, fraught with risks which cannot be assessed.

Safe Workplace Visits Made Easy is a new, free, interactive website designed to guide companies through the process of assessing the risks (and maximising the benefits!) of offering visits to young people.

And companies who want to help the next generation understand their industry through this kind of activity can register their interest directly on the site, allowing educational establishments to search for companies in their area.

Company visits can provide young people with real insight into careers and sectors. Why not play your part?
