Fair Admissions to Higher Education: draft recommendations for consultation

The Schwartz Review of Higher Education Admissions recently pubished its draft recommendations for comment.

Key points of EEF/SEMTA response

  1. Admissions tutors are going to have to recognise the wide range of qualifications which prospective candidates will have.
  2. HE in general will be targeting more part-time, mature, employed students. This means providing courses that people in employment want to undertake and employers want to support, and delivering them in a way that is right for people not institutions.
