Examined Course (certified by IEMA)
This 10-day course is aimed at those wanting to develop their environmental skills so that their organisation can reduce its environmental impacts.

Introduction to environmental management and key issues and concerns
Environmental Policy and Legislation
Environmental aspects including identification, evaluation and key control techniques
Environmental management and the integration of environmental considerations into everyday business management
To gain the Certificate delegates must pass a 2½ hour exam and submit a short project

The course will enable participants to:

Understand the environmental issues affecting their organisation
Develop strategies to comply with legislation and improve environmental performance
Implement and maintain an environmental management system

The course is designed for key personnel requiring a comprehensive basic knowledge of environmental management issues, particularly for Managers responsible for implementing and maintaining Environmental Management Systems such as ISO 14001 and EMAS within their organisation.
