Warehouse health and safety

In the past five years nearly 5,000 accidents occurred in warehouses, of which nearly 500 were major injuries. The majority of these could have been prevented by recognising and controlling hazards.

This course will enable participants to:

Identify common hazards in the warehouse and ensure the appropriate controls are in place
Avoid accidents and ill health within the warehouse environment
Understand their role and responsibilities in ensuring a safe and healthy warehouse environment

This course is aimed at all those working within a warehouse environment, including Managers, Supervisors, Vehicle Operators and Safety Representatives. It is also suitable for those who have had little or no health and safety training as well as those with prior knowledge.
