REACH - Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals

The EU’s REACH Chemicals Regulation came into force on 1 June 2007. Between 1 June 2008 and 1 November 2008 nearly all “substances” used by EU manufacturers, importers and downstream users must be pre-registered with the European Chemicals Agency as new legal obligations stretching to 2018 and beyond come into force.

REACH will potentially impact on all companies manufacturing, importing or using chemicals. Compliance is not just a technical issue: sales and purchasing also need to be aware of its implications. This seminar will provide an overview of the regulation, together with practical guidance on compliance.

The Seminar will be relevant to management across a wide range of functions: environment, technical, occupational health and safety, sales, purchasing, legal and operations.
