Thorough accident investigation is necessary to help prevent accidents from recurring and to demonstrate to enforcement authorities and other stakeholders that appropriate remedial action is or has been taken.

This 1 day workshop will enable delegates to identify the root causes of accidents and make quality recommendations aimed at preventing a recurrence. It also explores interviewing techniques and reporting requirements.

Accident causation theory, identifying root causes of accidents

Interviewing role-play, taking statements from witnesses
