Gain a professional health and safety management qualification

This programme provides delegates with a thorough grounding in the principles and practices of professional occupational health and safety. Candidates must pass a written examination and a practical workplace inspection. The award demonstrates a professional level of competence in the management of health and safety at work.

occupational health and hygiene
how to monitor and identify common hazards
investigating accidents and near misses
recommending remedial action
implementing and managing a safe and healthy working environment.

10 days plus revision, practical and exam.

Block delivery

This course is run over two 5 day blocks, with revision, practical and exam days in addition.

Revision & Practical: 3-4 September Exam: 5 September 2008

Weekly delivery

This course is run on Thursdays over a ten week period. In addition there is a revision day and a practical day followed by an exam.

Revision and Practical: 3-4 December
Exam: 5 December 2008
