Investigating Gross Misconduct

Most companies face allegations of serious wrongdoing by their employees which may amount to gross misconduct.

Course Overview

They will consider whether to dismiss for a first offence in these cases, yet are sometimes uncertain about the various stages of the procedure and do not have the confidence to push ahead to a conclusion.

In consequence there is a choice between risking an embarrassing loss at an Employment Tribunal, or failing to deal effectively with serious misconduct.

This half day workshop will deal with the legal context of gross misconduct with particular emphasis on the practicalities.
