IOSH Safety for Senior Executives

This course is designed to provide senior executives with an understanding of their health and safety responsibilities and to ensure that such issues are maintained as a strategic management issue.

Course Content

The training programme follows the IOSH Safety for senior executives syllabus which includes:

Health and safety law
Corporate manslaughter
The role of Europe
Personal responsibilities and accountability at senior levels
Management practice
The business implications of health and safety

Understand the personal and business implications of successful health and safety management
Understand the legal framework for health and safety
Understand your responsibilities
Be able to review your own organisations policy and strategy for safety

Assessment and Qualification

Delegates are required to complete a short written test at the end of the course

Successful candidates will be awarded a Certificate by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) – a recognised, benchmark qualification for senior executives

Directors, chief executives and other senior executives operating at a strategic or policy level within the organisation
