IOSH Working Safely

Working safely is for people at any level, in any sector, needing grounding in the essentials of health and safety. Everyone at work should have an understanding of why they must work safely - and this course offers exactly that.

Course Content

The programme is designed around genuine work situations to drive home practical points and covers

Introduction to working safely
Defining hazard and risk
Identifying common hazards
Improving safety performance
Protecting your environment

Gain a nationally recognised qualification
Learn about what you need to know in an informal manner
Learn how losses effect the business
Get a good understanding of what hazards and risk are
Gain an understanding of risk control

Delegates are required to complete a multiple choice examination paper at the end of the day and a simple hazard spotting exercise in their workplace.

Successful candidates will be awarded a Certificate by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
