Most forward thinking organisations today operate some sort of reward/bonus scheme in an effort to motivate employees whilst attempting at the same time to stabilise and reduce employee turnover.

Currrent thinking suggests that a reward structure should reflect the organisational ethos and give sufficient openness to allow people to succeed.
