Sickness absence costs the UK economy over £12 billion a year and can have a huge impact on business performance.  Because of this it is important for companies to address sickness absence issues and be proactive in their approach with employees.

Since the launch of our comprehensive Managing Sickness Absence Toolkit in July 2007 we have been helping member companies review their policies and procedures with the aim of moving them to a high attendance culture - whatever their starting point.
