Course Overview

Back injuries are responsible for industrial output being lost through absense from work to the tuneof well over £1billion every year. The Manual Handling course will make delegates aware of the problems associated with the manual movement of goods and emphasise the application of good handling techniques through demonstrations and practical work.

This course will explain the requirements of the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 and their background and will also give a practical introduction to the risk assessment procedure and reducing the risk of injury.
