Instructional Skills for Supervisors and Team Leaders

Delegates attending this course will improve their knowledge of the risks to health from manual handling, correct kinetic handling techniques and the requirements of the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992. Basic skills will also be developed in the techniques for training in manual handling activities.

As part of the day, delegates will be expected to construct and deliver a short manual handling presentation to the group.

Upon completion of the course, successful delegates should be able to undertake basic manual handling training in the workplace and possess an understanding of manual handling risk assessments applicable to their own workforce.
