IOA Certificate Course in the Management of Occupational Exposure to Hand-Arm Vibration

This course will enable delegates to appreciate the nature of HAV hazards in the workplace, the need to protect employees from hand-arm vibration syndrome (HAVS) and advise and assist their Company in meeting the Control of Vibration Regulations 2005.

As part of the course, delegates undertake a practical and written assignment. Successful candidates are awarded a certificate validated by the Institute of Acoustics.

Delegates should bring a scientific calculator. EEF may be able to loan one given prior notice. Delegates may also like to bring their own Hand-Arm Vibration measuring equipment, but this is not a requirement for the course.
