Course Overview

These significant pieces of legislation come into effect on 1 April 2008 and this seminar will examine the legal implications, make senior directors and managers aware of their responsibilities, look at effective health and safety management systems, codification of Directors duties, practical guidance and enforcement mechanisms.

Speakers

Duncan Shepherd is a solicitor and a partner of Wake Smith & Tofields Solicitors. Duncan advises on all aspects of Company Law specialising in merges and acquisitions.

Amar Tembe, qualified as a Barrister, is Director of Employment Services at EEF Sheffield and adviser companies on all aspects of Employment Law as well as lecturing on NEBOSH Diploma.

Holly Dobson, is a solicitor and a partner of Wake Smith & Tofields. Holly advises businesses on all aspects of commercial litigation and, additionally, is experienced in representing insurers and businesses in inquests.
