TUPE- A Practical Guide - Advanced

Many organisations are frequently involved in takeovers, mergers and contracting of services such as cleaning and security. Such transactions may amount to a transfer of undertakings. The law relating to such transfers is confusing and forever changing. Significant changes were introduced by the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006. This course combines a briefing on the revised principles of TUPE and practical case studies applying the theory to real life scenarios.

Although no prior knowledge of TUPE is required, this course presumes that delegates already have a good understanding of concepts such as contracts of employment and unfair dismissal.
