The introduction of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, The Pollution Prevention Control Act 1999 and the Environment Act 1995, as well as extensive current and proposed UK and EU legislation, means that competent managers are essential; first to survive and then to thrive.  To assist companies in training key personnel the Association is running the IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management.  It provides complete grounding in the fundamentals of all aspects of environmental management.

Following successful completion of the course delegates will be eligible for associate membership of IEMA, Associate Membership of the Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (AIEMA).
