Information and Consultation

The Information and Consultation Employees Regulations 2004 give employees, in undertakings where there are 50 or more employees, the rights to be informed and consulted regularly regarding business matters.

The Regulations will be enforced in stages. From April 2005, the Regulations were applied to undertakings with 150 employees or more. From April 2007, they will apply to undertakings with 100 employees or more and, finally, in April 2008 they will apply to companies with 50 employees or more.
