Several UK newspapers have run alternative medals tables this week, but one question area they haven't covered is... how do our competitors stack up on the exports medal table?
First off: the key prize – our biggest export customers:
1. United States
2. Germany
3. France
The next event – export growth since the end of 2009
Heavy weight category (NB: to be eligible for this competition, total exports must be >£1bn value in 2011)
1. South Korea
2. China
3. India
Export growth since the end of 2009, middle weight category (NB: to be eligible for this competition, total exports must be >£500mn but <£1bn value in 2011)
1. Indonesia
2. New Zealand
3. Qatar
Export growth since the end of 2009, light weight category (NB: to be eligible for this competition, total exports must be <£500mn)

What about sports goods exports? Not only has the UK proved to be a top-performer in sports this week, but we also exported over £350mn worth of sports goods in 2011. The top destinations were:
1. Ireland
2. Germany
3. France
