What to do

- Concentrate on hand-arm vibration as this is more likely to pose risks to your employees than WBV

- Establish the likely risks using the advice on surveys. If you believe that these risks may be significant, consider engaging an occupational hygienist to help you assess the risks fully.

- Get all employees at risk to complete the appropriate health surveillance questionnaire annually and take appropriate action if any of the responses indicate continued symptoms associated with use of vibrating tools or equipment.
