Compressed Acetylene Order 1947

Provides that the apparatus used in the manufacture or keeping of compressed acetylene shall, whenever required, be submitted to tests carried out on behalf of the Secretary of State, and makes a further exception allowing, subject to the same conditions as to approval and tests, the use of acetylene in the production of organic compounds at pressures not over three hundred pounds per square inch above atmospheric pressure and not mixed with air or oxygen.

Dangerous Substances (Notification And Marking Of Sites) Regulations 1990

The person in control of a site shall ensure that there is never 25 tonnes or more of dangerous substances at the site unless the fire authority and the enforcing authority has been notified in writing and that suitable marking is in place for firemen who May need to enter the site.

Any business with 25 tonnes or more of dangerous substances as defined in the Regulations.
