Siemens Drive Technologies in Congleton played host in March to our first-ever Member Connect, focusing on how manufacturers are adopting innovative working practices to drive productivity and customer value.
Members heard from the award-winning Siemens team about how they have built and sustained a programme of lean improvement. At Congleton, a range of alternative working practices support improved quality, cost and delivery performance.
Simon Nadin, Business Excellence Manager at Siemens Drive Technologies, said:
“There is a general misconception that we’ve lost our manufacturing base, yet the UK is the sixth largest manufacturing economy in the world and the north west makes a huge contribution. It’s time to debunk this myth once and for all.”
