This survey contains data for Manual employees and Clerical and Technical employees. The survey does not include non-engineering roles such as security personnel and office cleaners. Director and management roles are also excluded from this survey.
The figures quoted in this survey are for basic salary. No account is taken of shift pay, overtime, stand-by or call-out payments or any other unconsolidated bonuses. When looking at the data, you must take into consideration other factors such as location, number of employees, turnover and sector.
