Free hazardous waste training for machinery manufacturers

The EU-life funded HAZRED project is holding a free hazardous waste training workshop for manufacturers of machinery and equipment on 17 October 2007.

Aimed specifically at small businesses, the event will give delegates the chance to find out how to minimise hazardous waste – and receive significant business benefits in the process.

The event will be held on 17 October 2007, from 10am to 4pm, at the Aston Villa Football Club, Birmingham and is open to any small company operating in one of six sectors: Machinery Manufacture, Construction, Motor Vehicles, Speciality Chemicals, Photographic & Print and Metal Finishing.

Opening with a keynote address from Peter Jones, OBE, Director of External Affairs at Biffa, the event will include:

· Confidential, sector-specific advice, delivered by industry specialists
· Guidance on staff engagement and awareness
· Presentations from HAZRED project participants, who have seen significant results by addressing their hazardous waste output
· Networking opportunities

To find out more or to register interest in attending, please email hazred@trimediahc.com or contact Project Manager, Anna Pizzi, on 07876 391 374.
