We are looking for Commercial Services Administrator to join our busy Commercial Services department.
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:
1. Support the Commercial Service Team, where practicable, by supporting the development and delivery of all the marketing and administration support to enable the achievement of future strategic and operational developments of the Association and its Business Plans.
2. Support the Business Development Manager by providing, where appropriate administrative support to enable him/her to develop all new commercial opportunities activities and in the him/her to development of all new Commercial opportunities.
3. Support the Commercial Services team in achieving the agreed Annual Business Plan Revenue Stream Targets;
Your main areas of responsibility will include:
(i) To work closely with the Heads of Management Development and Health and Safety and Environment to ensure that all commercial opportunities are referred properly and all outputs recorded accordingly.
(ii) The accurate recording of relevant information that will allow accurate ongoing monitoring and evaluation of the Commercial Services department activities.
(iii) To record all relevant information on the CMS to ensure that pre established KPI’s can be collected.
(iv) Ensuring that cover is available when either administrative desks are not occupied in the office.
(v) The production of accurate invoicing in relation to commercial activities undertaken
(vi) To work closely with the Management Development and Health and Safety and Environment teams to ensure that all written and printed material is produced within the scope agreed and made available for use as set out in the agreed timescales
(vii) Where practical the conversion of enquiries and contacts into revenue generating business opportunities.
(viii) As a post event customer care activity contact all open course delegate contacts to maximize further business development opportunities.
(ix) To support the HR/ER team with the administration and facilitation of events and activities which have been agreed through the business development phase of the annual business planning cycle
The successful candidate must have:
Qualifications and training
· Educated to GCSE standard with at least 5 passes at Grade C or above in English and Mathematics
Experience
· Experience of handling and dealing with customer issues in a professional and timely way
Specialist knowledge
· Sound knowledge of statistical analysis and how to present information clearly.
· Understanding of general office procedures including filing, data collection, storage and retrieval.
· Comfortable with the flexibility of IT and how it can be exploited to achieve results.
· An understanding of marketing and customer care techniques

- Adept at using the following packages; databases (including access), spreadsheets, word processing, email and intranet
It would be desirable to have:
· NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent
· 2 year’s experience of customer service delivery working with many clients
· An understanding of the challenges and demands of the skills in the work place
· A good telephone manner with some experience of telemarketing.
· The ability to manage diaries
