EEF response to Conservative National Insurance proposals

Responding to the Conservative proposals for new businesses to be exempt from paying National Insurance Contributions of their first ten employees, Lee Hopley, Head of Economic Policy at EEF, the Manufacturers’ Organisation, said:

"This scheme sends a strong signal on the importance of start-ups, but we hope the Shadow Chancellor 's speech tomorrow will also set out a broader package for growth, job creation and reducing burdens on all businesses."
