Our technical development team meet with you at your manufacturing site to understand your systems and processes and to explore your requirements in detail, helping you define a programme and create a job specification.
We can post your job specification on the National Apprenticeship Vacancy Matching System (NAVMS), accessible to all school leavers and available exclusively to registered training providers only.
We will pre-screen applications on your behalf and co-ordinate interviews at your site or at our Apprentice and Skills Centre in Birmingham. Our experience of working with young people means we know what to look for in your search for an award-winning apprentice.
“EEF is vital to us in delivering bespoke training to our apprentices. It’s a hands-on partner in developing and progressing our apprentices, which means we can make the most of their passion and skills in the business.”
Jackie Swinn, Caunton Engineering Ltd
For those manufacturers who have limited HR resources, we offer model letters of engagement and employment contracts. We can also advise on wage rates and terms of employment if required.
Where there is a requirement for apprentice training to be delivered local to your site, we can identify and manage third-party training providers. Our Monitoring Officers will work closely with providers to ensure training meets our high-quality standard.
On-going support and monitoring can also highlight areas where additional training may be required for your apprentices to help them continue to excel within your business.
We strive to ensure your apprentices are motivated, committed and dedicated to your business. That's why each year we celebrate the outstanding achievements of apprentices in our annual Future Manufacturing Awards.
Why not let us help deliver an outstanding asset for your business?
