This course gives anyone required to conduct PAT testing the knowledge they need to able to identify and recognise hazards and carry out inspection and testing of portable applicances

This course is designed to teach and instruct how to carry out Portable Appliance Testing (PAT Testing).

This course is also available as a tailored in-house programme.

Anyone required to conduct PAT testing. Delegates should have a good understanding of the certificate syllabus based on the IEE Code of Practice for servicing, inspection and testing of electrical equipment and its practical application.

Delegates will need their own copy of the IEE Code of Practice for the In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (3rd Edition) book for the duration of the course. It is highly recommended that delegates study this book prior to attendance

Delegates can also purchase Exam Success: IEE Code of Practice 2377 book although this is not compulsory.
