Effective Time-Management Skills

Finding the time to stop and think about how we are behaving is becoming increasingly difficult in these hectic, ‘lean’, cost-conscious times. This time-management training day is designed to give individuals the opportunity to consider what they do and how they do it and, as a result, to make them more effective and successful when they are back at work.

By use of personal reflection, group discussion and small group activities, delegates on this time-management course will discover whether they are their own worst enemy and, if so, what they can do to help themselves and their organisation. They may find that others cause some of their issues and will be able to make good use of the vast array of hints and tips that will be discussed during the day.

Who should attend

This time-management course will benefit any busy individual who would like to consider how they can regain control of they way in which they use this most precious and finite resource.

Benefits of attending

  • understand what effective time management is and how they may be creating their own time management problems
  • understand how their working style will effect their management of time
  • be able to improve the way they organise themselves and their days
  • have learnt strategies to control and minimise the impacts of interruptions and interrupters and positively influence the behaviour of people around them
