How is the NEBOSH National Certificate in the Management of Health and Wellbeing at Work course structured?

This course consists of two units. Unit HAW1 of the certificate is a taught unit of 35 hours and is assessed by a written examination. HAW2 is a practical work-based assessment which must be taken within 14 days of the end of the course.

Unit HAW1 is a taught unit assessed by one two-hour written examination. Unit HAW2 is assessed by a three-hour practical assessment to be undertaken in the candidate’s own workplace. This must be taken within 14 days of the date of the HAW1 written papers.
