UK Steel Annual Review 2006

Against a background of relative stability in steel markets, 2006 nevertheless threw up a number of fresh challenges for the sector, notably:

  • security of energy supplies and uncompetitive energy prices
  • the related issue of climate change, and the
    government’s proposals for tackling it

Our 2006 Annual Review reflects on these challenges and how UK Steel sought to address them, and reports on how our provision of services to members has improved.
