Andrew sits on EEF’s economic policy and tax committees, as well as our main board.
He currently runs the family precision engineering business, JJ Churchill Ltd. He is a trustee-director of Midlands Group Training Services, a centre of excellence for the education, training and development of engineering apprentices. He’s also a member of the board of trustees for the Design and Technology Association and a school governor.
After graduating, Andrew spent 10 years working in China and Australia in a variety of manufacturing sectors. In recent years he’s sat on a number of ministerial advisory groups and panels, including:
- The Institution of Engineering and Technology’s Manufacturing Policy Panel
- The All-Party Parliamentary Group for Trade and Industry
- The steering group for the All-Party Manufacturing Group Parliamentary Enquiry 2013
