Chief Executive Officer, Marshall of Cambridge (Holdings) Ltd

Robert is one of our main board directors. He Joined the Marshall Group in 1994 and has held a number of roles across the group. In January 2012 he was made chief executive officer. The company’s primary businesses are Aerospace and Defence Systems, and Motor Retail. They also own and operate Cambridge International Airport and have extensive property holdings in Cambridge. They are a major employer of engineers and have one of the longest running apprenticeship schemes in the UK.

After graduating, Robert became a scientific research associate with Lockheed Martin, later founding a business that designs and manufactures specialist equipment for use in microbiology laboratories.

Robert is an Alumni of Harvard Business School and a fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society.
