In 2019 we are committed to support you in making STEM activities engaging and fun, as part of this we are launching a new STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) room at our state-of-the-art Technology Hub in Aston.

We have secured the space in the building but we have blank walls that we need support in bringing to life. We are asking young people to think about STEM careers and what they enjoy about STEM and how the future of STEM will look like and to put pen to paper to create the artwork for our room.

This will help us create a dynamic and engaging space for young people to be inspired about being the next generation of engineers.

We have four age categories for entering: 7-10 years, 11-13 years, 14-16 years and 17-19 years.

The entries can be either drawn on paper or you can use a computer design package.

The prize for the winner of each category will be your design on one of the walls of our new STEM room, with name and signature, plus a printed framed copy for the entrant to keep and a £50 gift voucher. You will also get a STEM session for your class to be booked in during the 18/19 academic year. The winners of the 17-19 category will get VIP entry into our Next Generation event taking place in spring 2019. All entries will receive a certificate.

We do hope that you will get your classes to get involved in this great competition to help us inspire the next generation of engineers.
