Adrian Knight has been with EEF since January 2009, he began he career as an Instructor covering areas such as; fabrication, welding, electrical and bench fitting. In this role he was a hands on with the learners teaching the various units of the apprenticeship standards and frameworks.
Early in 2016 Adrian was promoted to Senior Technical Tutor, this role provide pivotal support to the EEF Apprentice management team, and his day to day role includes the running and planning of the shop floor activities at the EEF Technical Training Centre (part of the EEF training campus in Aston). Adrian is also the lead in the scoping and development of new robotics equipment used within the centre for both apprentices and those people in industry looking for upskilling opportunities. Adrian works with the other Senior Technical Tutors on a regular basis to maintain quality systems and supports the implementation for the internal verification process for learners.
Adrian is passionate about supporting the apprentices in the early stages of their careers, and get job satisfaction from seeing the learners grow and develop into budding engineers.
In the early part of his career Adrian was an electrician by trade working on multiple contracts across the UK and Europe.
