Chris is a qualified mechanical engineer as well as being a chartered health and safety professional. Chris spent 10 years in the power generation Sector at Alstom Power in Rugby. During that time, Chris was the Lean Manufacturing Lead for the site & then managed QHS & E across the Alstom plant. This role lead to Chris’s current fields of interest of Machinery Safety & management Systems.
As EEF’s Lead for Health, Safety & Sustainability Product Development & Delivery, Chris is responsible for ensuring that EEF not only maintain their high standards of training & consultancy delivery, but also that EEF are always delivering what our clients want & that EEF are using the latest delivery methods to achieve this.
Chris also delivers advice, training and consultancy to companies of all sizes – from providing advice on compliance to leading culture change programs through a blend of training and consultancy. This real life experience helps delegates understand the principles being taught through training.
Chris’s primary focus in training is ensuring that the delegate comes first – finding out exactly what they are looking to achieve and then delivering what they need.
