As Senior HR & Legal Adviser at EEF, Andrew advises on both contentious and non-contentious areas of employment law. He appears as an advocate at employment tribunals throughout the UK and also at the Employment Appeals Tribunal. He covers all aspects of employment law - from the shop floor to the boardroom. This involves unfair dismissal claims and complicated multi-day hearings, such as discrimination, transfer of business, and equal pay claims.
Andrew is a Law graduate of The University Of Leeds and qualified as a solicitor in 2000. Since then he has specialised in employment law. He completed his training at Hammond Suddards solicitors in Manchester, before joining Addleshaw Goddard solicitors on qualification. Prior to undertaking his training contract, he also worked for Freshfields solicitors and London-based HM Treasury Solicitors.
